What is "Certificate for Completion of Registration to the ERFS System (受付済証)"?

Foreign nationals, except for those for tourism purpose, are allowed for new entry into Japan under the responsibilities of receiving organizations from March 1 2022. New entry of foreign nationals from all countries and regions is in principle suspended except for those with “special exceptional circumstances”. Meanwhile, foreign nationals who apply for new entry into Japan based on "Foreign nationals newly entering Japan for a short-term stay (less than three months) for purposes including business and employment" are regarded as those with “special exceptional circumstances” and are allowed for new entry into Japan in principle, if the receiving organizations located in Japan completes prescribed application in the Entrants, Returnees Follow-up System (ERFS).

"Certificate for Completion of Registration to the ERFS System (受付済証)" is the certificate completed prescribed application in ERFS system.

The secretariat can send the certification to the following people:

• Authors of ICN 2022 main conference, including poster/demo session
• Steering committee members and PC members
• Researchers or students of Information Centric Networking or computer networking

We cannot provide the certificate to persons of the following countries:

• Countries/regions classified as Red
• Countries/regions classified as Yellow, and Home quarantine and other measures are required

We will withdraw the certificate if your quarantine period and other measures have changed to 3-day home quarantine due to status change of your country / region classified.

The process instruction

1. Create your Web ID

If you need the certificate, you create the Web ID for publishing your certificate for Completion of Registration to the ERFS Syste afte you have finished your registration as an on-site conference participant

2. Send your application form

Please click "Go to the application form" using your Web ID.

3. Receive your certificate

We will send you the certificate by email after your information is all right. In general we will send the cetrificate within 24 hours. Please let me know if you have not received the certificate 48 hours after you have sent your application form.

4. Publish your Invoidce and/or Receipt

If you would like to get your invoice and/or receipt, you can get it to click "Invoice and/or Receipt". You can get your invoice after your application data was sent to our server using oursystem. You can get your receipt after our system have recognized that you have completed your payment. This link will work until September 21, 2022.
