Dear Participants of ACSMO2022
I hope on-site participants go back to your home safely.
It was my great pleasure and honor to host ACSMO2022. On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I wish to express my sincere thanks to you for having participated in ACSMO2022.
I hope that all participants, both online and on-site, had a meaningful time listening to the lectures, and having discussions with presenters. Also I hope that for on-site participants, talking with your old and new friends during coffee breaks, lunches, welcome reception and banquet were enjoyable time. And through all these events, I hope this conference provided all participants with a good experience that will be beneficial to your professional career.
We had 95 on-site participants and 186 online participants, 281 participants overall from 9 countries, which is the largest number in the history of ACSMO. During the conference 232 papers including plenary and keynote lectures were presented. 4 Young Scientist Awards and 3 Best Student Awards were selected among them, and presented at the awarding ceremony both online and on-site.
Here are photos taken after the plenary lectures.
I also wish to express my sincere thanks to plenary and keynote lecturers for their informative and invaluable lectures, and local governments, organizations, and companies who supported financially, and committee members and many more people and organizations. The conference would not have been so successful without their support.
ACSMO 2024 will be hosted by China. The place is not decided yet, but we, EC and GC members of ASSMO hope it will be a face to face conference. Also we hope to see you again in the future activities on structural and multidisciplinary optimization.
Again, thank you for your participation and invaluable contribution to ACSMO2022.
Best regards,
Katsuyuki Suzuki
